LOIS LANE MEETS MR MXYZPTLK

Jeez, his name is a bitch to spell!

Anyway, this was a commission for who requested I draw Mr. Mxyzptlk turning Lois Lane into something. Of course my mind reeled with possibilities, and toilet was approaching the top of my list. But I realized how I really wanted whatever I turned Lois into to be recognizable as Lois. So a statue was a natural choice, plus gave me decent fodder for a gently naughty gag (unless DA tells me I have to, I refuse to put any kind of advisory on this because she's topless. She's a statue with no nipples, for Pete's sake).

In case anyone takes notice, yes, I did intentionally make Mr. Mxyzptlk look like the Grinch. That Chuck Jones' expression just seemed a good fit for the character.

It was an afterthought, but once this was drawn, it just made sense to me to put this drawing on an actual Lois Lane comic book. I scanned in an old one from a book I had, erased the previous cover art and changed the issue number to zero, then slapped my drawing on top. I could have gone the extra mile and done filters to make it look distressed and vintage, but A. I didn't want to obscure the artwork, and B. I really don't have the foggiest notion how to do that.
