Bodie Troll is too cute and funny--you're supposed to be scared of me, darn it! Looks like a winner to me.

I also like your Frodo drawing. I have a friend who is short and stocky like me, and he's a big LOTR fan, and he's let me nickname him Frodo. I gave him a birthday card with birthday wishes from Gandalf, and he said it was his favorite card that year.

This looks great Jay! The troll character is very similiar to a character you've probably never seen before, it was the main fairy character from Disney's film that got canceled "The Fairy King". My buddy Aaron was directing it so I saw a bunch of the development art a year or so ago. Looked a LOT like this, so the good news is that film is gone! Super cute.

Yikes. Very similar huh? That can be the kiss of death. Guess I'm glad the competition never made it to the big screen.
I'll also be at the NCS booth, selling copies of "Dead Duck" and whatever else I can drag out to the con. I'm trying to get free passes in professional registration, which hasn't happened yet. I have a back up plan through one of my publishers if that falls through, but hopefully I can get those passes. But I have my flight and hotel room already. Sucks having to put the cart before the horse, but Comic Con makes it so you have no other choice. Looking forward to meeting you and your brother, Tom!

Ha, that's funny we'll be at the same booth! Great minds. Yeah, I hate that I don't know about my pro pass yet either! I don't have a great back up plan too. I really need that.
