Description
I've long been a fan of Joss Whedon's "Firefly" TV show, as well as the "Serenity" movie that followed. So it was a treat to be asked to draw two of the characters, Mal and Inara. Firely is easily my favorite space fantasy (used to be Star Wars, but, well, times change. Star Wars is still important to me, though). And I could draw the characters from Firefly as often and with as much passion as I could Popeye. And f you know me and my work, you know that's saying a LOT.

Now I did a job. And got nothin’ but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character, so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

It sounds like the finest party I could imagine gettin’ paid to go to.
I don’t suppose you’d find it up to standards of your outings. More conversation and somewhat less petty theft and getting hit with pool cues.
