Dead Duck's Death Proof

I loved Tarantino and Rodriguez's double bill "Grindhouse" and especially enjoyed Tarantino's half, "Death Proof." And for the longest time now I've had this notion to draw a tribute to it using Dead Duck and Zombie Chick. After I sat down and drew it all out, I grabbed my copy of the "Death Proof" soundtrack to use for reference in drawing the title's lettering. However, the art was so striking that I decided instead to use it in a collage with my cartoon, and I'm pretty happy with the results. If you haven't seen the film, it's about a guy who kills women with his car. I drew Dead Duck in the Kurt Russell "Stuntman Mike" role, Zombie Chick as Vanessa Ferlito "Butterfly" role (the target of Mike's affection and vengence), and myself as the bartender. I don't slip myself into my art very often these days, but this time I figured, what the hell. Anyway, hope you guys dig it.

On a separate note, my computer's been acting weird for awhile now and only sporadically allows me to do certain tasks, like uploading images to my e-mail and Deviantart. So it was with much effort that I got this piece up here to show you. Jeez, the effort I gotta put forth I do for my art...
