Cookie the Hutt by JayFosgitt Cookie the Hutt by JayFosgitt
Just a weird idea I had, mashing up Sesame Street with Return of the Jedi. Surprisingly, most folks who saw this sketch at Mid Ohio totally missed the gag. That's Cookie Monster as Jabba the Hutt, and Prairie Dawn (the original female Muppet on Sesame Street) as Leia, if it's not already obvious.

How could anybody not get this?
I can only imagine those people never saw starwars and, frankly, I dont think those people count as people.

Was Gonzo in Sesame Street as well, or was he only in The Muppets Show?

Gonzo was only in the Muppets. The only Muppet to ever grace Sesame Street was Kermit. :) Throw in Bert and Ernie as bounty hunters, Oscar as Han in Carbonite, and you have yourself a deal! :)

Aah, that's just too damn funny! I completely forgot about Prairie Dawn. As far as Cookie Monster's concerned, C.M. eating veggies is just wrong. Though I can hear C.M.-as-Jabba just fine: "Your Jedi mind tricks will . . . ohh, you got cookies?!" Nice work.
